Adding photos

Hi,
Just wondering how to add photos to posts from my album on my phone?
I tried using insert image icon but it looks for a url.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

From your mobile device, you will need to view the site in desktop version.
This you can do by scrolling to the bottom of the screen.

When posting an image, you will first need to reply to thread or create a new thread.
There you should see a small box just above the post which has a picture of a tree, this is to upload photos from your device.

It will request of you to choose to upload a photo from Computer or URL.
Clicking 'From Computer', it will then open the photos on your device.

Select which photo you want and then 'Upload File(s)'

Please do note that this will post your image, but only as an attachment, which the photo will not be at full size.
To have an image at full size, you will need to use the URL code.

[img] link of image no spaces [/img] <---- This will show the original image size.

As you will see, I posted an image in this thread as a test to show how it will look:

I have set to desktop view, the option from computer is not showing for me, it only looks for url code.

Hi there,

This is a feature that should show.
I have tested this on both iPhone and Android devices.

Once you click on 'Insert Image' then a small popup should appear in the middle of the screen, which should the option to choose 'From Computer' or 'From URL'


This is what you should see in the box when you select each option:

From Computer

Add an Image from your computer
Allowed Filetypes: jpg, jpeg, png, gif

Choose file: No file chosen
Upload File(s)

From URL

Add an Image from Url
Allowed Filetypes: jpg, jpeg, png, gif
