    I agree and selby played on for 5 snookers vs Bingham at 11.15pm at night . The crowd wanted to go home, BBC Had to extend their coverage.

    Stephen Hendry beat Ireland`s Patsy Fagan 3-0 in his last 16 round match in the World Senior Championship at the Crucible today. A good start to his bid to win the senior title. Patrick Wallace beat NI`s Michael Judge 3-2, Darren Morgan beat Lee Walker 3-2 and David Lilley beat Philip Williams 3-1.

    The defending World Senior champion Jimmy White beat Tony Knowles 3-0 in their last 16 round match at the Crucible today. Ken Doherty beat Joe Johnson also 3-0. Barry Pinches beat Dennis Taylor and Igor Figueiredo beat John Parrott both matches also on a 3-0 scoreline. Taylor announced his retirement from professional snooker after the defeat.

    Jimmy White beat Darren Morgan 4-1 in his Senior World QF today to stay on course for the defence of his world title. No luck for Stephen Hendry as he was beaten 4-1 by Igor Figueiredo. Patrick Wallace beat Barry Pinches 4-2. Ken Doherty is currently playing David Lilley in the last QF.

    David Lilley beat Ken Doherty 4-3 in a final frame decider in their QF and Irish involvement in the tournament is over.

    In the SFs at the Crucible this afternoon Jimmy White beat Igor Figueiredo 4-1 to maintain his hopes of defending his senior world title. Patrick Wallace beat David Lilley also by 4-1.
    The final takes place this evening.

    I got the SF result mixed up. Lilley beat Wallace 4-1 not the other way round.
