Penalty to italy with the last kick of the game in a scoreable position. Can they score it? Oh fuck, he hits the post. Jays he should have scored it. Its a draw.

What happened with the last penalty? Did the ball fall off the tee or what? Then he had to rush the kick as there was only 6 seconds left on the shot clock. What a chance missed to beat the french though, they'll never get a better one i'd say.

What has happened to france since the world cup? They were within a kick of the ball of beating the boks. Now in their 3 games in the 6N they have been shocking, we battered them, lucky to beat scotland and extremely lucky to draw with italy today. I know dupont is missing but surely he couldnt make that much differ to them. They have gone backwards bigtime.

See where DuPont beat us in the sevens? I heard people say that the new coaches in France haven’t settled in yet. They’ll be playing like superstars for their T14 clubs shortly. Hard to figure.

Good news for ireland, hugo keenan is fit again and starts on saturday. Thats the only change. James ryan has been ruled out for the rest of the tournament with an injury he got in training. Gary ringrose doesn't even make the squad which just goes to show our strength in depth.

Have we any thing to be worried about on saturday against the old enemy? Or are we way ahead of all the other teams this season?

I think we should be fine, but we can’t afford to allow ourselves to be dragged down into a scrap, which is what they will want.
We are way ahead of them . I expect a 14 point win .
