Remembering Laura Lee ,Today is the first anniversary her death
Laura advocated for individuals in the sex industry to be recognized as workers deserving of rights. She advanced demands for decriminalization, including initiating a judicial review at Belfast’s high court in respect of the provisions criminalizing the purchase of sex. Laura stated that her intention was to bring the case to the European Court of Human Rights. She campaigned ferociously for the rights of sex workers on the island of Ireland.

Laura Lee was and for ever be a inspiration to all people she met and ones she didn't meet. She truly believe in getting justice for all Escorts and their business decriminalization. So they could work in knowledge that it was legal to do so, without fear of repercussion.
One year on and look at mess the law has done now , to which Laura Lee was fighting against . What phenomenal pioneer Laura Lee is and she inspire me to seek justice in right way.
What would I given just to spend little time and a chat with her , to hear her stories and what she truly believe in. But sadly her life was taken away long before her time
She will never be forgotten and always be remember and miss by the people who knew her and ones who never met her
R.I.P. Laura Lee !

Sometimes when someone passes away they are given a status that doesn't always match the impact they had in life. Laura on the other hand was, and still is and inspiration to us all. She is the person in this industry who has had the biggest impact on me.
We miss her.

Laura Lee shall forever be a true hero. She stood up for what she believed in, battling against overwhelming stigma, but she never quit, a fiercely proud and intelligent woman.
