    Default Blackmail hack

I just got one of those dreaded emails from a hacker claiming to have access to embarrassing information and a video of me and screenshots. The hacker had my email address and also a password which I only ever used on this site. Has anyone else received a similar blackmail letter? Any computer nerds have a view on whether this site may have been compromised?

Even if someone has an email address and your password he is probably bluffing about any other information. Worrying though.

If he has your password, he can get your email address. If you have an easy to guess password probably just guesswork.

It's frightening! Apparently it's easy to access all contacts and friends.

The password was complex and not associated with the email address.

Should really have a separate email account other than your personal one. Should also have your face camera sealed over on your laptop. Should not connect your social media to any of these forums be they the boards or this website. Dont go on dodgy websites either. Just stick to pornhup, xvideos or xhamster. Need anti virus as well. Should also have two way log in for accounts be it gmail or amazon or paypal. This is where you need a pin number sent to your mobile phone in order to log in.

Still though, even with all that you are not completely protected.
