I mean, look at his goal today. It's funny how he always manages to score goals like that, remember the goal against ManU in his first season in Real.
This team isn't that much different than the previous one in 2014, it's just that 3 players that were old were replaced (Subasic > Pletikosa, Vrsaljko > Srna, Rebic > Olic). Keep in mind they were also there 4 years ago, but because the previous 3 were like 34y each, and didn't want to step down for younger players, we got trashed by Mexico then. And also a mistake on that WC was, placing Rakitic as a DMF, which he simply can't play, as even in Barcelona, Busquets does that for him. It's funny how ever since Makelele, that role has been reinvented, and has been crucial in modern football basically. Each team has got to have one player like that.
All in all, we will be first in group, then we'll go against Denmark, pass them, and meet with Portugal in quarter finals. We will see how that will go again, seeing how we lost 1-0 in extra time in 2016.
