Sad news indeed. Gay Byrne, Marian Finucane and now Larry. It has been a bad few months for people of a certain age who grew up watching and listening to these long time RTE broadcasters. RIP Larry.

Larry himself said that this particular question and answer was part of a Brendan Grace comedy sketch but a lot of people believe it actually happened on his show which it never did.
