i am trying to copy a link from one site and post it on E-I where it asks you to insert link but wont allow you to paste it

If you wish to copy a image, then simply left click on the picture, holding the button down and then drag the image to the search bar.
This will open the image and allow you to copy.

does that work for links too? I want to copy and paste a link
