As I love pointing out to those who were a little slow at geography in school, the mainland is Eurasia.

    Good for social harmony anyway.
England is not distant. Would you like a geography lesson? Or even a history lesson, in which I can show you the history of these islands is of tribes and races of people forever moving through? Happy to oblige

Not if you live on Craggy Island, isn't that right Ted ?

Wrong. Eurasia is known as "the continent". My offer still stands.

England is a troublesome little pimple on the backside of Europe. To me it as distant and as important as Mongolia.
The US and the EU are important. England wallows in jingoism.

    To a little Englander, yes.
    Eurasia is 2 continents.
Guess the English school system wasn't up to much either.

In terms of those who toil and fumble in the greasy till you may be right.
You must be a shopkeeper in that nation of shopkeepers.

You're far too easy to play along with. I'm getting bored.

Your reading and comprehension is sadly lacking, for which I award you a C. I have already said I enjoy living among the warm hearted Irish in preference to the disgusting little Englanders at home right now. I thought that made it clear I am not one myself? Sorry if I'm confusing you...

Eurasia is one landmass and geologically one continent. The Bosphorus straits and the Ural Mountains make convenient man made boundaries at which we chose to demarkate Europe and Asia. But that is all they are. Man made lines drawn on the map. There is nothing different about one side of the Urals from the other.

General knowledge starter question for 10: who called England "a nation of shopkeepers?"
Main question : who brought about his eventual downfall, and what was his nationality?
And for a bonus point, what was his well known quote with respect to his nationality?

Given your superior education I await your immediate response
