    Default Swearing?

Just been chatting with Lara and Nicole about bad language. I have to admit, I do casually swear during conversation, and even with my parents we all swear like troopers like it's no big deal.

In respectful company I do tone it down as not to offend, but usually when I get to know that person a little better, they are often as bad as me! I never swore in front of my children either, but admittedly, as they have gotten into their teens, I find myself slipping the odd 'bad word' here and there, especially when I am being cut off on the road by someone driving a German car with indicators that don't seem to work

What's your take on bad language? Do you casually swear frequently or do you abhor the use of naughty words? Are you polite until you are in the sack, then unload a full artillery of profanity during love-making?

I do swear more than I used to... my dad still is shocked when he hears me swear (even employing the full name to tell me off for it) but it just slips out every now and then. I don't like people swearing all of the time, but I'm okay with the occasional swear.

As for what I'm like in the sack... that's for me to know and you to never find out

I only swear when in the company of family or friends . Now and then the odd F word slips out in company of strangers etc .
    Personally I couldn't give two fucks .

My father used to say foul language is an ignorants man at an attempt to communicate. I must say the f and c word are used like adjectives here in Ireland. And, I have been here so long I too use them way to frequently in casual conversation. I am back and forth now between here and usa and find myself having to bite my tongue.
My sister was shocked as I used to call her a potty mouth and used curse terms sucj as....
Tough toenails, shut the front door, gosh dang it, holy tolito, holy smokes etc.. you get the picture.
I absolutely love the freedom of being able to swear here but I realise I must be mindful of other peoples feelings when trying too , funking gosh dang comunicate!

It's not big and it's not clever.
    2014 in Northern Ireland:

Number of reported attacks on sex workers 70

Number of sex trafficking cases ZERO

My language has got worse as I got older. I see that the origins of words like 'shit' and 'fuck' comes from the German language where more technical language like 'fornicate' and 'deficate' comes from Latin. Blame it on the Germans I say!!
