im sure some of you have experienced this. you know when your on YouTube and the video takes really long to load and keeps freezing so you just leave it running for ages and then you click back cause there is enough buffer that big long grey line so anyway you click back to the start of it and boom all your buffer is lost and it freezes on you again

then you just say to yourself ahhh you big durty rotten frozen fried chicken wing of a breast god damn you and may you rot in hell you big inflamed penis bone on the forehead of the interweb and go suck a dick you big knob!!

Sup bud. Youtube works ok for me thank God. But any other site that streams vids takes ages

I'm talking movie sites, tv sites, etc. Take 2 hours to watch a 40 min video

That's exactly why I switched to UPC. With Eircom, even low quality vids on Youtube still buffers. And I was supposedly paying for 8mb "Uncongested Broadband"

Eircom are fond of throttling your connection. They tend to do it to people who download a lot. I used to get 700kbps downloading stuff, now I'm down to 250kbps. Bastards. Still better that all the alternatives around here though.

Are UPC all they're cracked up to be? Thinking of switching to them as the whole phone/broadband/tv combo seems good value.

Yup, have the 100mb package and it's just incredible. Don't know why I waited so long to make the switch

Gaming, streaming, downloading, everything's 10x better !
