Brother Carlos, tis me, crawling out of the rock...I don't agree with this banning until there is a post from Patty or any other banned member for that matter.(but that won't happen because their accounts are already banned)

I agree investigations were done, for all the matters not only now, but there is no explanation from the 'guilty' party. Yes, EI staff are doing their job but is not a democratic society we live in, in this day and age.

Everything we read comes from the decision taken by EI, if there was fixing of reviews etc, that shit happens, lets not deny it. Only it is done in very good way(I think).

I posted a reply to Brother Forrest on the thread in General Chat. From my perspective, I can see nothing in it for E-I to invent all these allegations......if anything, E-I are putting their hands up and admitting that the escort private forum has been compromise and that the review system has been manipulated. Ok, maybe many here were long aware of these two facts, but many newbies possibly were'nt. So E-I admit the imperfections of the system, thereby causing many to feel less confident in it..........in football parlance, it's an E-I own goal.

Therefore, I accept what Sam posted, I believe irrefutable evidence must be available.......otherwise why bother, and I accept that for reasons of data security/privacy, this evidence will not be posted on an open forum. You are probably spot on when you state "if there was fixing of reviews etc, that shit happens, lets not deny it. Only it is done in a very good way (I think)." But that begs the question, when an actual case of fixing of reviews (just to leave the whole issue of compromising the escort private forum aside for one moment) is proven to have taken place, should E-I take some form of action, or should they just ignore it on the basis that this sort of thing is going on all the time? Furthermore, if E-I were to ignore it, would you as someone who frequents escorts, feel more or less confident in the integrity of the review system?

On the basis of natural justice and fair play, you would like Patty to have the opportunity to answer all these charges against her and others. Well, I think I could make fair effort at scripting the response:

It is, is'nt it? But strangely enough, as yet nobody has tried to actually defend the use of these sharp practices.

If anybody is in favour of leaking information from the escort private forum, or of posting fake reviews to manipulate EOM, could they kindly pm Samlad so he can deal with them.

As I stated in my original post, a person who would defend or engage in such practices is obviously a creature of the night who crawls out from under his/her rocky lair to prey on the unsuspecting.

I think these reviews and forums are BULLSHIT i had a top reviewer ( you know who you are ) txting me saying he will give me a review even though he hasnt seen me he said id get lots of work if he gave me a review people listen to him apparantly :s come on mate im 22 and english im sure your one good review will not affect my buisness dramaticly. Ok I have read this whole thread and I wish to put my oar in as I am interfering bollix. I do not know of the details of the allegations or the "more" that aint pretty and I accept the decision of EI to ban Patty and whatever else, however I do not believe it is in anyones interest not to explain why. I have been here a few months now and the Mods and EI get crucified on the forums for being hitler like and secretive, that is one reason to explain the ban, secondly if an escort is banned for sharing confidential escort forum material, the clients have a right to know in case their identity etc is also in the possession of the same escort.

Clients are entitled to ask questions about these things and they are entitled to answers that may affect them so the "fuck off" explanation is not a runner in my book. For the record I pmed sam today after I read about the ban asking if the an accusation against a client was based on one instance of a shared IP address as it could have been someone using the girls laptop to post, so it is not far fetched. I have never done it and never would but it is not beyond the realms of possibility.

As for the moral indignation of some of the posters on both sides, all I will say is get off your high horses, read your posts over the past few months and tell me that you don't gossip, insinuate etc etc, we all do.

I would love to see "peace love and understanding" but most of all lets kill the hypocrisy, myself included. I await your examples please so I can take my virtual whipping and eat copious amounts of humble pie, but I will try to be a better person.

I disagree. If an escort has been banned for a reason that has affected other escorts then their safety and privacy must come first. No escort should be put at risk for any reason. I am sure if it was something where a warning was needed for clients to be aware, then a statement would be put out for the clients.
