Thread: How many of you get regularly STI tested.

  1. Default How many of you get regularly STI tested.

Just wondering how many of you get a regular STI checkup?

I would have thought it comes with the territory in this game, but I am only finding out I seem to be in the minority...

Every couple of months, sometimes sooner and sometimes later depending on the frequency of meetings.

North obvious reasons a lot of gentleman may not want to get the free kit posted to their home, But you know every hospital has a sexual health clinic usually open 9 to 5 Monday to Friday type hours and it is FREE you just make an appointment.

It’s nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed about if anything I think it’s the opposite as it shows that you are being responsible and taking care of your sexual health the same as we should all take care of our overall health!

Remember that in men a lot of STDs can lay dormant, chlamydia in particular which can be very destructive to a lady but a male can have it and have no symptoms at all.

Or order to the office if you have the luxury. The SH24 packaging is discreet.

True that some STIs lie dormant or are symptomless but I guess it’s down to the level of risk exposure. Using protection during intercourse reduces risk dramatically, infection from OWO is possible but gonorrhoea and chlamydia don’t tend to thrive in the throat, for example a chlamydia infection in the throat will clear up without treatment. Using mouthwash is a smart move straight after too. Anyway, testing is very sensible but monthly testing as someone mentioned seems excessive unless exposing yourself to high risk without protection and my experience is that escorts are risk averse. Why would anyone do it? Some STI is are incurable even though treatable.
