I wonder will the liverpool players give an extra bit now to make sure jurgen goes out on a high. They give plenty anyway but maybe it'll be an added incentive to make sure he leaves with at least one trophy. Or could it have a negative affect?

Impossible to know, will have to wait and see, remember when Ferguson announced his retirement early with Utd and it backfired that season, footballers are a strange bunch, but then again, if they get wind of Moyes, you should have said nothing ketchup lol

Its possible that the players have known for a while.
I trust Klopp and LFC to have thought this through, so that the right outcome is achieved.
The bottom line here is that Klopp has taken Liverpool from being a laughing stock to the top of the perch again.

A full round of midweek games this week. 5 games tonight, 3 tomorrow and 2 on thursday. And these games are a repeat of the opening weekend of the season. So will there be revenge for some, the double for some or maybe stalemate for some. There was a few draws on the opening weekend. I think there might be all three.

Villa v newcastle, its strange to think that the magpies hammered villa 5-1 on the opening weekend. How both teams fortunes have changed since. Villa now in the cl places and newcastle struggling to get a european place. And with villas home form and newcastles away form, then surely this will be revenge for villa, wont it?

    Villa at home are excellent.
    I expect 2-0 to Villa.

Forest v arsenal, the city ground isn't a happy hunting ground for the gunners. They lost 1-0 there last year, a result that gave city the title and also lost on their last 2 cup games there. Will rice and gabriel be fit? Both teams could do with a win for different reasons.

Fulham v everton, luton v brighton and palace v sheffield utd are big games for the teams at the bottom. Will any of luton, everton or the blades get a win?

Good news for arsenal, both gabriel and rice start. Smith rowe also starts, thats a rarity but good to see. Will the gunners have their scoring boots on tonight or what form will they be in. I'll go for a draw, 1-1.
