    Gary Wilson beat Gerard Geene 6-4 in the qualifiers last night. So the only Irish player at the Crucible this year will be Mark Allen.

    Williams and Higgins both win in the first round and will meet one another in the quarter finals. Robertson also through to quarter finals. Hawkins looking good to join them. Ronnie playing tomorrow.
