Limerick beat tipp by 15pts. Still a good few group games left but is it going to be a limerick v clare munster final?

So after todays results the seedings for the all ireland series are known. Pot 3 will be derry, tyrone, monaghan and roscommon. Pot 4 cavan, cork, meath and westmeath. Pot 1 will be the 4 provincial winners and pot 2 the runners up . The draw is on tuesday.

I wonder will there be any group of death when the draw for the all ireland series is made tomorrow. Teams that meet in the provincial finals cant be drawn together, but teams that met in earlier rounds can. That means derry v donegal, cork v kerry, tyrone v cavan, mayo v roscommon and dublin v meath could meet again. And cavan v monaghan. Its possible to end up with a group like this, dublin, derry, cork and the runners up in ulster.

So if donegal win ulster they will meet tyrone again, if they lose ulster they'll meet derry again. Which would they sooner? The group of death has to be group 1, connacht winner, ulster runner up, derry and westmeath.

Imo its a bad thing having the draws before the provincial finals have taken place. For example, have the connacht winners a tougher group than the runners up? If mayo win the connacht final they meet derry, ulster runners up, and westmeath. If they lose connacht they meet dublin, roscommon and cavan.

Overall i think the ulster winners will be happy with their group and the connacht winners wont.

2 football finals this weekend, there hasn't been a munster final in ennis since 1919. And its 32 years since clare last won one. Safe to say that all cows will be milked in clare this sunday evening. Will they hold kerry to ten points?

Will galway bate mayo? Going by present form mayo should win it. Galway were very lucky to beat sligo, they will need to improve to win on sunday. I'd say mayo by 3pts.
