Many many issues would need to be sorted before this could happen. As the comment at the end of the webpage says a world final between the Champions cup winners and the Super 15 winners could be a better option although that has issues as well.

It would be the way to start it alright. However both hemispheres would have to play at the same time and don't see that

happening any time soon. At the moment Champions Cup Final happens in May usually. Super 15 then starts in late May/early

June. What about Currie Cup in South Africa and ITM Cup ( Think that is the name of the competition ) in New Zealand ?

Ya well the link stated that we would more or less have to move ours to summer , the same time as Southern Hemishpere. Which would be better for us and give us better rugby, sure our summers are wetter than Oz winters
Their season is 7 months and ours 9 so maybe a 8 month plan ???
The other comps would have to become secondary and prob used to blood new players or use their second teams , it,s an idea??

It is an idea yes but is long off in the distant future. Currie Cup and the equivalent in New Zealand are really huge

competitions. What about the Tri-Nations Cup? Look at the money that has been invested and still is being invested in the Top 14.

It is a nice idea in theory but far from reality I think.

Watching Munster on tv last night and was thinking to myself how far back they have gone.
No passion shocking lineout and backs (2 irish int) that wouldn't tackle a chicken supper.
Don't want to be too harsh as O Mahony is a big loss and O Connell will never be replaced but
they need a lot of new blood quick. I notice the prawn sandwich brigade are after abandoning
    the sinking ship too. (typical)

Leinster lose to Toulon 24 - 9 and are pretty much out of Europe for this season. Discipline was appalling today, gave away too many penalties and got 3 yellow cards.

Still going to the return match in the Aviva next week though, interesting to see what sort of a crowd will show up for the game.

Did I read somewhere that Munster have given
Anthony Foley a contract extension ? If it was me
he would be sacked. Great player Shite Coach.
