Wow i wasnt expecting anyone seen that film!

Yeah not an easy one for sure, but if you won't give up after 15mins /nearly did/ make perfect sense to the end...we all play different roles in our life right?!

However i think that one is only for hardcore movie fans who dont mind watching something very different than usual
    Good bye Ireland!

This was a hard one, I love films but to say these my 10 favorite is impossible, ask me tomorrow and I could give another 10.
However these are the ones that stuck out the most to me when I was looking at those I have watched, so in no particular order.

    The Shawshank Redemption
    Pulp Fiction
    Casino Royale
    The Shining
    Heat
    Alien
    Groundhog Day
    Léon
    No Country For Old Men
    The Silence of the Lambs

Saying that cinema has changed for me in recent years, it is now more about the spectacle then that of lasting substance which has been replaced by series such as The wire, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos to name but a few.

Just going to add in my top ten actors, I usually know I will enjoy a film if any of them are in it (with the odd exception)

    Al Pacino
    Leonardo DiCaprio
    Robert De Niro
    Tom Hanks
    Brad Pitt
    Dustin Hoffman
    Jack Nicholson
    Tommy Lee Jones
    Peter Sellers
    Bill Murray

It hadn't occurred to me to think of it in that way, it lends a lot of sense to the movie. Thanks

What was that movie a couple of years ago ?

    The Serbian Film ?

Did anybody ever watch the whole thing ?

I started on it , then got distracted by life , never got past the beginning.

    Any commentary on it ?

    xx

    Srpski film

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1273235/

I watched it. It is visually stunning but content wise it is repulsive. The thing is though, it's done that was for a reason, much the same as Haneke did with 'Funny Games'. Or like Gaspar Noe did with 'Irreversible' and 'Enter the Void'. Push it to the extreme and overdose the audience on what they crave to make them see how ridiculous it is, or something along those lines.

Not sure I'd recommend it for the faint hearted

A friend of mine suggested watching that, I heard it was a controversial so I wiki it first....and the summary was enough to say no way, repulsive is the word and thats only what a few lines from a few lines of plot summary.
