What's the most shocking language you've seen used in a film?
Its on in my country I've seen it last week, Im a huge Dicaprio fan, but still undecided if i love/hate the film, will give it a second go here i suppose, fuck isn't that annoying in this movie, highly recommended for those who wants to see full frontal nudity, sex and drugs for three hours
Good bye Ireland!

Apart from Ben Kingsley's psychotic and jarring use of the C word in Sexy Beast I don't really consider language shocking in movies any more. Some movies make great use of swear words - Bad Santa for instance - but some movies rely on it way too much. It can be tedious to watch when you know it's been used as a device to add 'gritty realism' but the actors just don't seem comfortable or believable.
I find that the themes or messages in some movies are often more shocking than the language. Zero dark thirty for instance. Or Srpski film.
Django. Mostly because usage of that word really only took off after the civil war
What if "It's Raining Men" and 'Let the bodies hit the floor' are both about the same event but from different perspectives 🤔
Really looking forward to seeing this, the book is a great read. The language won't be a problem.
Agree with the above, Ben Kingsly in Sexy Beast has a couple of amazing lines and also 44 Inch Chest has some fantastic swearing. The award goes to Nil By Mouth for me though, brutal use of language in a very brutal movie.
The Wolf of Wall Street is a great movie, one of the best in the oscar nominations in my opinion. it's 3 hours in length but you leave feeling happy unlike 12 years which leaves you depressed at mans inhumanity to man. Gravity is another great movie and it'll be a close run thing between it and the Wolf for best film oscar.
