I don't write many cheques but I always leave enough room for more zeros. I never keep surplus cash in my checking account though. In 18 years one cheque bounced, I guess somebody got greedy, they never came back looking to be paid again though. Thats an extra €180 in my pocket.

Next they will want to be paid with sovereigns. I suppose one sovereign should be sufficient for a decent visit to most girls.....
