This Country will never be ritch no matter what oil or gas they find....someone asked in an other post why are the people poor.Its because we give all our ritches to the moron ex government ministers in big fat pensions and bankers who ruined us.

What a simplistic approach, you may note the "money" given to Norway is based on estimates of what may be under the ground. We have a serious problem attracting companies to drill test wells "50 million a try" we attracted very few interested parties for the last round. http://www.ronanlyons.com/2011/03/29...ith-trillions/ read this for a more realistic overview. As much as I would love to think that there was a quick fix for our economy oil exploration is not it. If we do find "actual" oil it will be 10 to 20 years before it generates any real revenue if the people let it be brought ashore.
