Im an Introvert till the voices in my head take over
I like my own space but im confident in large group's, i think it depends on the situation and people at that moment in time that defines how you will react. Well that works for me anyway.

I used to be very shy, not able to speak in front of a group of people, but then later i got a job, as a tour leader, i had 2 groups for a week, every week. One group was italian and the other malteese. And i had to learn how to talk to them, make them listen to me, make myself understood and i really started to like it.

so i guess this comes with experience too.

I am an introvert. Trying to get to the place in the middle between Introverted and Extroverted. Am quiet and shy. Have no problem talking to certain men and women while others I cannot open my mouth. Working on that though currently.

According to the quiz, I'm an introvert. I always have been, I guess, but I would have put myself in the middle now. I can cope in social situations, but every now and then it is nice to chill out and not talk to anyone for a while.

Another test to assess this is the myers briggs personality type test. Unfortunately it is a paid for test. Have done it and the result was freaky accurate

The more you paid for the test the more you imagine that the result is accurate.
Like going to a fortune teller...................................The more you pay the better you think they are.
It is all a con job.
Start believing in yourself, in what you do and say, believe in what you want to do and you will succeed.
You don't need all these "Quacks".
They NEED you.

Perception and reading body language is very important. That doddery old woman might be half her age mentally and gutted to be offered assistants. She may be out purely to get some time alone and that little bit of Independence she misses so much and not allowed to have at the local home. Equally she may be struggling and grateful for a smile and a helping hand and you may be the first person to have spoken to her all day.

I guess it is a matter of looking beyond the image you see on the outside and working out if your help would do more harm than good or not. Not every old person is incapable of crossing the road.
