Thread: Fake first time reviewers ideas how to stop

Personally, I no longer really try to identify fake reviews. I try to identify reviews I can trust. Those are the ones from reviewers who have seen some of the same escorts I have, and who have had similar opinions about them. The other reviews could be classified as fake, different taste, unknown, etc. But why bother? So I don't really care which first time reviews get ratted, as I am generally ignoring them anyway. A better use of resources might be identifying repeat offenders. Someone with 20 fake reviews is much more of a problem than 20 people each with one fake review.

To me it seams that there is no punishment in place for fake reviews - therefore escorts /agencys will continue to carry on abusing the system and writting them even if its states ratted /fake reviews its still publicity /advertising for the escort fake or not still gets them to the top of the list for a bit

In the uk the main review system is on punternet its trusted and well used and most escorts business can come from this particular site
If your an escort or an agency and you get a fake review ie same isp / or asscociated users names are used by the agency /escort as the reviews then thats it for the escort - agency no more reviews ever banned for life
They can still advertise on the site and use the message board for advertising there profile but can no longer have reviews written about her/Agency by anyone at all good or bad The reviews are still up but all you get is this ESCORTS /AGENCY reviews have been removed due to fake reviews
Thats why there are not that many fake reviews in they system ok they get in but not as many as on here because if you as an escort /agency get a review then your business if basically fucked for a long time
the problems is down to the escort and escort agency this means that genuine escorts wont risk getting caught out for fake reviews and risk being banned by doing this it discourages girls /agency from allowing fake reviews as if they are caught they cant have any reviews at all

Because on EI there is no punishment in place for writing fake reviews untill something is in place to punish /prevent them they will continue to carry on and the system will be abused and eventually EI will not be rated as a good escort website due to the amount of fakes

You could even have it So that on there profile it has
not verified pictures + fake reviews
verified pictures + fake reviews
verified pictures
No Reviews allowed due to xxxx amount of fake reviews listed

If wasnt possible to bann permanantly then 3 months 6 months could probably do
even for agencys i would take the attitued that just one fake review on one girl would/could the agency business

they could still advertise and i dont think it would cut EI Revenue because this is really the only place to advertise in Ireland

I noticed that sometimes Users that write fake reviews get banned and sometimes they don't
There is no deterent here other thans rats to writing fake reviews.

i just see it as while there is no deterent to writitng a fake review then those they will continue to write them will write them
if something is in place ie banning them from being able to write reviews - totally then they will have to think twice about it
of course you will get a few that will slip through but i think that overall it will prevent a big majority of those fake ones
if those fake review are written mainly by agencies start to feel it in there pockets ie no clients visiting them because its known that there are fake reviews they might start to improve there service to the clients
i would have it that once they are banned no one can write a review on them - not even trusted clients or those clients that have other reviews on other girls either untilll there ban is up
