I can honestly say that i have never told a lie about anyone behind their backs and never did anything to drag another person down to someone else. I dont talk about ppl behind their backs and if i have anything to say i said it there and then ,upfront.

Are you saying if you were invited to a friends surprise birthday, and you happened to meet him beforehand, and asked you what what you were doing on the night of the party you wouldn't lie to him to perserve the surprise and just tell him you were going to his surprise party???

Never organised a surprise for a girlfriend and had to lie to preserve the surprise???

Once you have lied accounting for yourself in regard to seeing and escort (I appreciate you stated, that this is not escort related) but once you have cheated and crossed the famous line, then the lies just flow out of your mouth in relation to any matter. The trust is gone and the deception escalates. Sorry for being so gloomy, but I am a gloomy fecker.

some times the ppl lie because they don't want to heart the other person,but is better to tell the true,they will trust more one to each other.
but some ppl lie just because they used to.... no reason.

I rarely lie but in some situations it is better to lie i.e. to keep a surprise a secret or save a relationship

I would like to say that I never lie, but then I would be telling another lie. I think if you trust someone, it's easier to be completely honest too.

I clearly understand each person answer.......and if i would say i never lied i would be so hypocrite.....dif reason will make u in life to lie and that is not so bad as long as doesn't hurt anybody....when u are with someone then is a dif story......and as ye said guys once u been told a lie by ur partner the trust slowly but surely disappear....am not on about the small lies but the big ones where been honest would have been the easiest way to pass tru it.....
