Here's how to resize and repost an oversize picture........

You can do this by selecting the image and edit it. You can do this in "Paint".......

Open up the image in paint, in the top left corner of paint, select "Image" then "stretch and skew" and this will give you the option to resize it, eg 50% etc.........

You can then upload it as an attachment......

I remenber that pic you're talking about. I couldn't get it to work at the time. I'll have another go at it here now.......

You can then add it as an attachment, but if you'd like to post it as an image, first add it as an attachment, and when it's uploaded, before you close the manage attachments window, click on the "current attachments", (see attachment below) this will open up the image in it's own window. You can now copy the url of this image and post the picure using the image icon..........

Just be carefull if you're using a PC that you share with other people, that you remember where you're storing these images, or delete them after..........

Kelly I just saw your last post, that's not what this post is about..........

Luther, I understand about save pic. in 'my pictures' and do what you will in 'paint' resize or whatever, but when I go to post the attachement, it always comes out thumbnail size, what do you do to make it full size from 'my pictures'? Qph knows, he told me there was a roundabout way of doing it.
It's nice for the picture to be posted full size, as against thumbnail size. I would be grateful for your expertize in this matter.

The first one is, add the picture you want as an attachment, and when it is uploaded, before you close the "manage attachment" box, click on the attachment name (see the attachment below, look at the end of the arrow) and this will open up the attachment in a new window or tab, then copy the url of the new tab and post it as you would normally a picture from the web...........

    Or.........

Add it as you normally do as an attachment and post it, as you say, this will show it as a thumbnail size. Click on this thumbnail and it shows it as a larger picture, with a black surround, and then click on it again and it will open up in a new tab, then copy the url of the new tab/fullsize picture, go back to your post, click edit, and add it as you would as a picture from the internet...........

Hope this helps, if not, get back to me..........

Thanks Luther old buddy, you went to a lot of trouble with that, I've shoved it in my bookmarks and I'll have a go at it next time I'm in that situ. Thanks a million.

Sorry Rover I was off topic, when I see a humorous picture I usually go see where they got it and the pic I posted is from the same Blog, some good pictures on it like this one.

That guy lying down reminds me of myself 20 years ago, oh how I wish I could turn back the clock.

    What's he pointing at?
