1) West is not going to be a mod.
2) If and when we do add a community forum with a community moderator as mod, you don't have to post in that forum if you don't want to. We will be adding a new forum, not replacing any of our existing forums moderated by me/sarah.
You don't seem to mind rough banter. That's fine. That's your position. But many members of this community do not want to see all these highly heated discussions and arguments when they come here. They come here purely for a light-hearted bit of craic. They don't care to read heated debates where people are fiercely arguing with one another - full stop - There isn't any good reason ever for that kinda stuff in their mind. Right now, we have members who want to chat, but won't start threads, because they fear any thread that gets started here will eventually turn nasty. Those members are not enjoying this site currently and I don't think that is an ideal situation.
In the climate we have, I think it could be a good idea to add an additional forum, an alternative to "General Chat" which is moderated by a commuity moderator and is focused on being a friendlier place and not a place for heated arguments. This would serve as a place for escorts and clients who want E-I to be a calmer, friendlier, more light-hearted place to hang out.
I think this is worth trying. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, but I don't see the harm in trying.
You are a big personality here Paws. You speak your mind, say when you think things are wrong etc... And overall, though I don't condone you slagging anyone's mother off, I think you make a positive contribution to this site. However, people like you with such strong personalities can scare people off. I think E-I is getting a little rough for many people's liking at times, and I think it might be good to have a place where people can chat that is calmer and friendlier. If it encourages softer personalities to talk more, I think that can only be a good thing for this site and everyone.
I'm not taking about censoring you. I'm just saying I'd like to hear from the quiter men too, and what is wrong with adding an additional forum where things are more friendly?
