I vote for West as a community moderator, he gets knocked an awful lot, but he lets it slide and is very fair and reasonable without being touchy, he knows the workings of this place and I presume Escorting in general without having ulterior motives and likes a bit of craic and has his heart in the right place. If certain standards are not enforced then things will just turn into an Italian Parliament free for all again and again. I said things would only get worse and more vicious by PM to mod and was ignored, maybe West’s words will fare better. Respect.

In fairness I don't think all the nastiness of late is down to any one person. I think multiple people have behaved badly, including some escorts.

I agree Westie would make a great mod, but I though nobody here wanted community mods?

i left that site as a mod and told them to stuff it because the some of the mods on that site knew that a guy on the site was underage and certain mods logging on late at night drunk kicking and acting the bollox generally.I kept quiet about it until those same mods tried to be clever with me.I left it because of what i perceived to be unfair treatment of certain ppl by a certain clan ganging up on them.Bottom line is they needed me when they needed to get rid of the scum and troublemakers off it.When that was done they no longer needed the likes of me.What they failed to realise is i didnt need them either.Having said that im not a bitter person and have no hard feelings topwards them,just a difference of opinion which when falls on the lap of an extreamly stubborn person like me,i just fuck off and do my own thing.

I agree it’s more then one right now but I went to pains to explain that your failure in another matter would cause issues down the line, those chickens have come home to roost and are crowing loud and clear their intentions. I am thankful you have drawn a line in the sand and diplomatically marked peoples cards, whether you will use your ultimate sanction is of course up to you, but I think you should consider insisting that the main protagonists (plural) are made to apologize publicly to each other within 24 hours or be banned for good, what’s been said cannot be unsaid but if you stamped your authority on this here and now and force an apology, that in the long run will stop a lot of hassle for you and upset for others. It’s a simple solution to a simple problem, if you cannot hold your tongue and are incapable of apologizing and amending your behavior then you are taken out of circulation on the boards just as you would be ostracized or removed from society if similarly found wanting.

I know that the moderator idea was raised a while back and a consensus was arrived at that it was unworkable, but as you mentioned, you and other Mods cannot read verbatim every post but perhaps a Community Mod/s could be appointed to bring things that they felt needed to be addressed by you or even a sticky was set up that anyone could post something they felt broke forum rules that would be easily found by you and decide if it warrant attention or not rather then be sent pm’s left right and center or waiting until all hell breaks loose first. I agree that if things were all to nicey nicey this place would be the poorer but we all know the lines that are not crossed, those that do should be made apologize or be banned for the greater good. Of course they could sign back on under the same name and add a 1 at the end but that at least would be some loss of street cred and prove of punishment to their peers every time they posted.

West made a singularly good point about acceptance in the wider community, you would see toddlers settle their differences faster and better then what’s gone on. With the protagonists who are in the breech at present, this will go on and on for as long as this place is on line, you might as well stand on a few matches’s now rather then put out a forest fire down the line.
