Is there any pubs/hotel bars where a wheelchair user might find an escort under more relaxed environs? Profiles are great but organising a call-out with a lady you don't know, it can nervy for both parties. Send me a mail, if any locations come to mind.
Cheers peeps,

*I don’t know if any of you guys saw this one or not be a guy in Dublin was refused entry to...

I don’t know if any of you guys saw this one or not be a guy in Dublin was refused entry to Madison’s nightclub just because he was a wheelchair user.

However to be fair to Madison’s they instantly issued an apology and also said the bouncer that is to blame for it all wasn’t a regular bouncer of theirs and had only been with them for four weeks, he wasn’t one of their regular men and he was immediately sacked.

The problem is it just goes to show you this thing does happen it today’s society.

A NIGHTCLUB in central Dublin has issued an ‘unreserved’ apology after refusing admission to a wheelchair user on Saturday night.

Madison nightclub on Wicklow Street made the apology after a complaint posted to Facebook by Graham Bolger, who claimed he had been turned away from the nightclub on the grounds that he was in a wheelchair.

“That was just the start of my 45 minute ordeal of extreme discrimination at the hands of their staff,” he said.
Bolger, who said he has been using a wheelchair for eight years, said he had never been refused entry to any venue in the world – “from boats to cliff-top castles, festivals to beach clubs, car rallies to deep sea dives”.

Bolger posted a photograph, showing him outside the nightclub, to his personal Facebook profile – and to the nightclub’s own Facebook page, where it had gathered almost 50,000 ‘Likes’ from other users in 16 hours.

The massive response, and shows of support from other users criticising the alleged behaviour of the staff, prompted the club to issue a Facebook statement of its own about four hours later.

“Madison Nightclub unreservedly apologise for the disgraceful treatment of Graham Bolger last night at the club,” it said, adding that the doorman in question “was with us from an outside agency for the last four weeks” and had been “dismissed with immediate effect”.

Our company policy is that the club is open to all. We have welcomed people of all abilities and will continue to do so.
We are ashamed and embarrassed that this has happened.

It also claimed that it had delayed making a public comment as it had tried to establish direct contact with Bolger first.

“We deeply regret what has happened and will ensure that it never happens again. We hope to speak to Graham directly as soon as possible,” it said.

Disabled Clients Only Brothel

As I’m a member of many different disabled forums on the web I stumbled upon this story I just had to share with you guys, I think its a cracker. Give me your thoughts. :)

A former madam is coming out of retirement to open the UK’s first brothel reserved exclusively for DISABLED clients.
Becky Adams, 44, plans to spend £50,000 on the establishment, which she hopes will become the first of its kind in the world when it opens in 2014.

She said: “People have the same sexual urges whether they’re disabled or not. Everyone deserves to experience and enjoy sexual contact.

“A soldier who comes home from war disabled doesn’t stop being a normal, healthy person with normal, healthy needs. For many, disability can get in the way of fulfilling those needs. It can be very frustrating and painful.
“Our new brothel will be kitted out with ramps and hoists for wheelchair access, just like any other service for disabled people.”

The two-roomed establishment, called Para Doxies from the old English word for prostitues, will be sufficient for two sex workers, carers and staff to assist clients with their day-to-day needs, says Becky.

And, she adds, the brothel will provide transport to collect clients and take them home afterwards.
Becky said: “There’s nothing illegal about spending disability living allowance or benefit money on sexual services and the brothel will not be run to make money, it will be organised on a strictly not-for-profit basis."

It is currently legal to buy and sell sexual services in the United Kingdom but illegal to involve any third party, such as pimp or brothel madam, in the transaction.

Becky argues the Para Doxies team will simply "educate and facilitate disabled people in their sexuality, with third parties acting as aides, performing functions disabled clients themselves cannot".

Former madam Becky currently runs Para Doxies as a TLC Trust-supported, not-for-profit, telephone-based service where volunteers assist people with disabilities or their carers to source trust worthy, reliable sex workers, enablers or body-workers.

As part of the service she offers help from a "legal team" who can advise people wanting to use the service on all aspects of UK law and European Human Rights law and how it affects the provision of sexual services for people with disabilities and those caring for them.

And Becky, who ran illegal brothels in the Home Counties for 20 years before retiring in 2010, said she receives around 12 enquiries a week from disabled and vulnerable people looking to solicit from trusted sex workers.
One person she is supporting is cerebal palsy sufferer Chris Fulton.

Chris, 29, from Worcester, last week urged the Government to do more to help disabled people pay for prostitutes.
Mr Fulton, who also has muscular dystrophy, wants the government to adopt a Dutch-style grant scheme.
In Holland disabled people can receive public money in order to pay for sexual relations up to 12 times a year.

But lobby group Disabled Rights UK said pushing for a new system which would make it easier for disabled people to use public money to pay for sex was not considered a priority.

Becky, who recently published her memoir Madam - Prostitutes, Punters & Puppets, expects most of the new brothel’s clients will be referred from charities and advocacy groups, such as the TLC Trust, which has created links between disabled people and sex workers for the past 13 years.

She said: “Some people will think this is wrong. Sex work polarises opinion. Disability is also an old taboo. Sex workers and disabled people are alike in that they are both vulnerable and have very little voice in society. No-one ever listens to them.

"Add benefits and state support to the mix, and this becomes the biggest taboo imaginable."

I meant to post this a while ago, I hope it may be of interest. Its an Australian Broadcasting Association radio programme about a man with Multiple Sclerosis who sees a sex worker, Rachel Wotton. Other disabled people also are interviewed in the programme, including a man who was very badly burned, talking about touch, vulnerability, fear, managing sexual encounters, depression and intimacy. Another speaker is a male sex worker, who uses touch for therapy. Rachel talks about sensuality and finding much enjoyment which does not involve sexual intercourse. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...o_Hard_Basket/

I stumbled upon this movie coming out next month that I found interesting and am looking forward to and so I decided as there doesn’t be much going on in the Disabled Client’s Section I’d share it with everyone here just in case anyone’s interested and as it involves a disabled guy and a sex worker.

Its called ‘The Sessions’.

It stars Helen Hunt and William H. Macy (who I think is an amazing actor and is one of my favourites). Its supposed to have some nude scenes of Helen Hunt in it so if nothing else that’s good enough for me to go see it. :)

Please find below as description of the film (from IMDB) and the trailer:-

A man in an iron lung who wishes to lose his virginity contacts a professional sex surrogate with the help of his therapist and priest.

Not sure how many of you guys have heard about this story so for those of you haven’t I thought I’d post it as its pretty shocking and disgusting behavior if its true.

The three members of the Jordanian Paralympian squad facing sex charges have been pulled out of this year's Paralympic Games.

Faisal Hammash, Omar Sami Qaradhi and Motaz Al-Junadi are charged with sex offences in Antrim.
Locog said they had been told by the Jordanian National Paralympic Committee that they would not be entering the athletes into the games.

They said the athletes had returned to Jordan.Paralympian trio to miss Games
In a statement, the Jordanian National Paralympic Committee said the athletes would be sent to Amman.

It said that the President and Board of the Jordanian Paralympic Committee had decided that although the case would not be heard again in court until October, it "would be inappropriate for the accused athletes to compete at the London 2012 Paralympic Games".

The committee said it would continue to work closely with the Northern Ireland authorities to assist in their investigation and that its focus was now on preparing the remaining members of the squad for competition.

On Wednesday, a court in Coleraine, County Londonderry, heard that The King of Jordan has taken a personal interest in the case

A Jordanian embassy official offered bail sureties at the hearing.

Bail of £500 ($793) was granted with a surety of £5,000 ($7937) from the Jordanian government for each defendant.
The case had been adjourned while the judge considered the bail applications.

The squad is one of several international teams using the Antrim Forum sports complex as a training base in advance of the Games which begin in London next week.

The three men, two of whom compete in wheelchairs, are all members of the Jordanian Paralympics power-lifting team.
Faisal Hammash, 35, faces two counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity.

Omar Sami Qaradhi, 31, is charged with three counts of sexual assault and one of voyeurism. At least two of the alleged assaults were against children.

Motaz Al-Junadi, 45, faces one charge of sexual assault. All the offences are said to have taken place between 16 and 20 August.

King Abdullah's interest in the case was reported by one of his government officials who promised to return the accused men to Coleraine Court following the games if bail was granted.

The Jordanian Embassy in London released a statement saying it regretted the incidents that had led to the charges of the three members of the paralympic team.

"In line with its duties towards its citizens, the embassy provided direct consular support to the three members of the team charged with the offences," it said.

"A senior diplomat from the embassy attended the hearings this morning at the Magistrates Court in Antrim, and posted bail for the three sportsmen pending their reappearance in Belfast for their trial in October.

"The embassy wishes to further express its appreciation to the courts for promptly appointing a defence lawyer for the three men and facilitating its Consular services to its citizens.

"The embassy in London wishes to reassure the courts of its continued cooperation and maintains utmost respect for the due process of the law."
